Top 10 things to see and do at Uluru

And, then there are the things to see if you happen to be at Uluru at just the right time …

If it’s raining, don’t stay back in your hotel. That’s the time to be out looking for spectacular waterfalls off Uluru, or low mist in the valleys of Kata Tjuta.

If it’s a full moon, find a place to watch it rise above a pink and blue horizon in the east, or watch it set over Kata Tjuta early in the morning.

Be out and about at dawn and dusk – especially if it’s cold or wet or cloudy – because that’s when you can see Uluru and the landscape around it at its most spectacular and unexpected.
